I still have my old trustworthy 4GB iPod mini... silver with in-ear plugs

My soundcard... well, for games and playing stuff I use the built-in soundcard in my G5.

I'm also using the Apple Studio Display TFT.

For music making I use an external "soundcard". The Digidesign Digi002R... it's sweet albeit very pricey for a hobbyist like myself.

Connected to these studio monitors...

My headphones (Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro):

Beyer make neat stuff, I have a couple of their mics as well... and I'm using a Shure SM-57 too.

...uff...only and ever Apple...I hate "mainstream" things for fashion people...the Ipod is not the best mp3 player (try I-River and the news from Samsung or Creative...), Macs are not the perfect laptops....Mr.S.Jobs has recruited an excellent designer, now the Macs are also Intel inside and...the result is still the same: if you want some Apple gear, put your hand in pocket and take out a LOT of $$$.....

I have the Apple inEar phones too attached on an old 512mb iPod shuffle. The earphones sound good but they tend to slip out of my ears, I'd buy the Sony EX-81 which seem to fit well and have more accurate bass sound.

I got a pair of Sennheisser CX300s for my mp3 player a couple of months ago. I realise they're somewhat inexpensive to go in this thread (£15 on Amazon), but they're fucking brilliant compared with what I had before. And there's not much point spending more than that on earphones when I can't use the right one, is there?

I have the sony walkman NW-E005F digital music player -( MP3 / FM ) it is compact, cute, and has great (crystal clear) sound quality, I am very happy with it.. Similar to the ipod shuffle but this one has a screen which seems to float across the face of it.. It lights up at night and you can listen to radio as well which is a bonus... it is the 2G one and that is all I need.. It charges in minutes by pluging it in the the usb port of the comp.. and you can down load just about any music format type.. You can get all diff colours i have the violet one.. I love it!!!

chemical bros, groove armarda and Jami never sounded better.. lol Razz Razz
